MOMO Pro Quick Start Guide
Here is a quick start guide to help get you started with MOMO Pro as quickly as possible. This list is built to be as concise to help you get up and running in no time as well as address frequently asked questions.
Basic Navigation:
- Top Navigation Menu: Displays the MOMO Panels currently active on your dashboard. Clicking them removes them and places them in the +more navigation folder.
- Note: if you cannot close the panels, your dashboard layout is locked. Unlock by clicking on the layout (4 squares on right) then try again.
- Settings: May be accessed https://momo.mometic.com/settings/ or by selecting the settings icon on top right of dashboard (3 horizontal lines). More details can be found on doc.mometic.com
Primary MOMO Pro Components:
- MOMO Meters: 3 min rolling market breadth. No available settings.
- Favorite Quotes: Integrated throughout system when adding (+ on display or “/” keyboard). Can be detached and resized as needed. Play > functionality is enabled to horizontally scroll when multiple quotes are displayed. Down caret shows entire page and they can be re-ordered and sorted. Bonus: Price pin reset. Click pin icon to reset value. It tracks change
- MOMO Flow: Realtime 1min or 5min unusual volume alerting based on last trade volume. Adjust for min vol, min price, daily vol.
- Popular: Top 100 most engaged stocks by MOMO Pro community. Ranked by size (largest to smallest)
- Alerts Window: Secondary panel to see alert history. Typically you will see as push notifications, but this is another way to track.
- Stream: Currently up to 2 available Streams for new HOD/LOD prints. Can upload your own CSV (use proper format for up to 250 symbols) as well as manually enter symbols by choosing Fav option in Settings page. Multiple filters can be applied as well as different modes (e.g. “Near” HOD/LOD vs. Default of New HOD/LOD). Icons next to symbols: Star = in favorite quotes, ST = socially trending online, N))) = new news. Caution - overfiltering especially GAP% and ATR% will dramatically reduce or stop Stream output. Ensure you know the values before over tuning.
- Discovery: Our engine for realtime analytics updates. Prints last trade changes compared to chosen timeframe. E.g. If the timeframe is set to 3min you are seeing trade values update relative to those prior close. Use existing pre-defined sample filters, customize as needed, or create your own with 16 different criteria. Sort any column by selecting headings and add custom filters in filter drop-down as desired. Additional settings for the Discovery page allow reordering column position, disabling columns and adding Time Stacking (locked timeframes). Caution - Clicking Fav link will only show your favorite quotes. If you have a filter selected and none of your favorites meet the criteria, your Discovery plane will be blank.
- News: Multi-source news realtime feed with selections to show news for All (stocks) only Favorites. When clicking a stock within the platform (e.g. on Stream or Discovery) the News selection will automatically update.
- Chart: As with News, stocks selected within MOMO Pro will automatically refresh the chart with the selected symbol. Adjust the displayed timeframe from 1min to 1month as needed.
- Chat: Needs to be enabled in the top menu and is disabled by default. Use @name or $symbol to highlight your calls and search for prior mentions.
Additional Quick Tips:
- Right-click for quick links to 3rd party web sites.
- Blinking symbols in Quotes & Popular indicate new HOD/LOD
- Drag & Drop components by clicking top center of pane to open layout widget. Expand, detach, or drag. (Ensure layout is unlocked as described in layout).
- Ensure notifications - are added in the Notifications tab if desired. Also enable notifications in Browser.
- Install MOMO Pro as a PWA (Progressive Web App) - For improved layout and look as well as slightly improved performance (details).
