MOMO @ Stocktoberfest’15

Last week we had the opportunity to show off MOMO at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego for Stocktoberfest’15.

The attendees and presenters included of some of the best in the business; including top traders, fintech startups, investors, and entrepreneurs. It was hosted by Howard Lindzon, founder of StockTwits, and was the perfect venue to present MOMO. The weather and beach were incredible and coincidentally proved to be the perfect setting to use MOMO to keep an eye on the market while enjoying the scenery.

We met incredible people, received tons of great feedback and were introduced to several potential partners wanting to help take MOMO to the next level.

First Glimpse: MOMO on Android

We receive several Android requests a day are excited to have some news to report. Our Android build is coming along nicely. The data is streaming smoothly and we are now working on adding the supporting features.

We appreciate the interest are doing our best to get this out as quickly as possible. As you can see in our alpha build, it looks nearly identical to MOMO for iOS. Once released, MOMO will be available for Android phones and tables as well as available as an app in the Chrome Store. This is awesome because our unified platform enables us to release new versions of MOMO for Android and iOS simultaneously.

For those of you asking why we didn’t release on Android first, we knew that releasing on iOS was the greater challenge, so it was addressed first. (note: MOMO is built using an UI programming language designed by Google.)

Symbol Additions

Sixteen new symbols have been added to our index and they are available immediately. Several are worth taking note as they are great for tracking general market bias (particularly GLD and UST). We currently track over 6500 symbols, but if you come across any which are not available please email us or use the contact form within MOMO.
