MOMO Pro Indicator Glossary
Quick reference for MOMO Pro indicators and settings
We've expanded the number of available indicators and configurable parameters recently and wanted to provide a quick reference for those new to MOMO Pro or those wanting clarification of the parameters in Stream, Discovery and Conditional Alerts.

ATR = Average True Range - a measure of volatility to highlight stocks can be scalps or breakouts.

Avg. volume = Past 22 day avg volume. Used to remove thinly traded stocks from results

Custom List - Option to upload a select list of symbols to report in Stream.

Favorite - Option to only show your Favorite Quotes in Stream

Float = current number of tradable shares

Gap = close of prior day vs. open price. (Note: If used in Stream keep value very low as it significantly reduces results. Additionally, we only illustrate Gap as the close of prior day vs. open as this is the correct implementation of Gap. Other tools will show total gain of day which is misleading.)

Halt = is halted y/n. If stock has been halted in recent period as defined in settings.

Last = Last traded price. Use for setting price range in filters. (e.g. Last = $1 to $20)

Last % = change of last vs. prior selected timeframe. Useful for setting % change. (e.g. 5% or greater change vs. prior (x) timeframe)

LU/LD = Limit Up / Limit Down. Displayed to indicate limit up or limit down halt values. Only displayed for volatile moves.

Market Cap = shares outstanding * price

Mode - Menu setting for adjusting High/Low of day columns. Default = last print = new high or low. Near $0.10 will print when stock is $.10 away from prior high or low. Near 1% will print in Stream when stock is 1% away from prior high or low.

Momentum = timeframe based velocity indicator based on ratio of new highs to lows.

Moneyflow = VWAP based price * volume. Used to see relative dollars traded across wide traded price range.

Moneyflow % = change of moneyflow vs. prior period (Similar to Volume % but will show the relative dollars traded change)

Near HOD/LOD - Stream setting for restricting Stream columns to show stocks "nearing" a prior day high or low by either 1% or $.10.

News = recent news and configure accordingly. If stock has related news in recent period as defined in settings.

Popular - Option to show only stocks meeting our Popular criteria and new high or low events.

RelStr = relative strength of stock vs. SPY. Used for highlighting outsized moves that are not just due to macro market moves.

Short Ratio = days to cover. Useful for understanding likely strength of move as shorts can exaggerate moves and traders will pile on stocks with high short ratios.

Squeeze/Sqz = MOMO Squeeze algorithm. Used for determining stocks in periods of consolidation and primed for breakout. (search blog for details)

ST = Socially Trending. Displayed to indicate stock is socially trending outside of MOMO Pro.

Trades = number of trades per current period. Useful for seeing relative trader interest vs. just large block trades.

Trades % = change of trades vs. prior timeframe. Rate of change vs. prior based on time frame selected.

Trend = MOMO Trend algorithm. Used for establishing volatility adjusted buy/sell ranges based on time frame selected (search blog for details).

Uvol = relative volume vs. historic avg as a percentage. This value is useful for determining spikes in volume.

Volume = Current timeframe volume. (e.g. Can set as show all results > 500,000 daily volume)

Volume % = % change of volume vs. prior selected timeframe. (e.g. Set 30% > prior timeframe)

VWAPDist% = % delta of current price vs VWAP. Useful for determining reversion to VWAP and for uncovering oversold or overbought stocks.
