Introducing Time Stacking for MOMO Pro+
With our all-new Discovery Time Stacking, you can add a new dimension to your screening . What exactly is Time Stacking? It’s our approach that allows you to view multiple time frames simultaneously, giving you a more comprehensive view of market movements and enabling you to build richer, more dynamic screens.
How Does Time Stacking Work?
Imagine you want to identify stocks with 300% unusual relative volume on the daily chart, while also tracking stocks with 100% unusual volume in the past 5 minutes. Time Stacking makes this possible. The combinations you can create are nearly limitless, allowing you to tailor your screening to your exact needs.
How to use Time Stacking?
First you need to have MOMO Pro+. Once upgraded, navigate to Discovery tab in Settings. From there select the amber "Add Custom" link.
Once selected, you can chose the eligible indicators which support Time Stacking and the desired time frame to "lock down" in Discovery.
After you select your criteria and time frame, you will see the Time Stacked column in Discovery as shown below (5 min Trades). The significance of this is that you have both 5 min Trades constant regardless of the selected time frame, which in this instance is set for 1 Day.
Custom columns with Time Stacking can be used as criteria in filters as well as for sorting. Note the Trades (5m) option.
Practical Applications of Time Stacking
Time Stacking opens up new possibilities in Discovery –
- Viewing daily changes across multiple timeframes.
- "Locking down" columns and timeframes you want to see regardless of selected Discovery time frame.
- Creating custom setups tailored to specific trading strategies, like those used by Warrior Trading students.
