Independent & Unsolicited MOMO Pro Comparison vs. Finviz
We don't often get Finviz reviews or questions, but lately we have seen a few asking about how we compare. I think FinViz is a bit of an eye chart and hard to use day in & out, but other than that haven't done a deep dive recently.
This trader pinged us on Reddit and was initially skeptical, but has spent some time comparing and the feedback is amazingly positive for MOMO Pro!
(No bias) Finviz definitely has a delay in getting stocks the second they meet criteria, it usually take 20 seconds to sometimes up to 4-5 minutes. On top of that, it doesn't get news instantaneous. I'm not sure if it's because they use more mainstream news outlets or what, but a stock could pop up at 8am and I wouldn't see news on finviz until like 803am. It does have more specific technical and financial screeners, but I think for actively day trading low float movers, momo is better.

Our take – MOMO Pro and Finviz each serve different needs. I think Finviz started out as a investment research platform and as slowly evolved a bit to serving day trading, but still more focused on screening for longer term investments.
Keep the feedback coming - it is more satisfying to us than even our most profitable trades!
